Having seen the previous post from 9th March where Lisa McKenzie took a trip up to the field in Thringstone, she very kindly shared this second video with us from 21st March 2025.
This is second post of 2025, we talk about the beauty of bees, how they are doing, and what the future for our apiary is.
After the successful year for the 2024-2025 with David, The Bee Farmer, McDowell, and Lisa McKenzie, where we produced many hundreds of jars of honey we have decided to keep those that are interested up to date on our bee journey.
So with a beautiful day in March, we can see in the video our first emerging bee, and she is adorable, (Lisa’s words not mine). All around her are her sisters encouraging her to come out – and for this video, that’s really our story. Successful emergence of a female bee. Brilliant news indeed!
