For BOAL Extrusion UK safety is paramount, and in reaching 100 consecutive days without #time-loss injuries at its production facility in Shepshed, they chose a novel way to recognise the achievement by planting 100 trees.
At Co-Treetment we were delighted to work collaboratively with Emma Swann and other members of the BOAL Extrusion team and plant trees on 31st March 2023.
Safety is a top priority at BOAL Group and the company has committed to planting additional trees for every next 100 injury-free days.
BOAL Extrusion UK serves the UK and Europe with products that are manufactured with a focus on minimizing energy consumption and reusing resources to reduce its CO2 impact.
This collaboration shows how like minded companies can join together to make a difference, not only by the advantages of CO2 absorption but also in enabling employees to ‘feel the joy’ of planting trees, but also in connecting to other team members in a different way.
Without doubt the activity was enjoyed by all that were involved, and of course we all have to recognise everyone at the production facility for their achievement in reaching this safety milestone. Here’s to many more trees being planted over the coming years.
