As you may have seen, throughout our creation in 2019, Co-Treetment have built our company on a common set of goals across our three founder members. These are that we are aiming to do the right thing; we don’t have competition in the tree planting industry, as planting trees is good for the planet irrespective of the company or persons doing it and finally that we will always put our planet before profit.
We have always looked to extend that commitment and to have a greater positive impact. We do this by identifying likeminded entities and people, we call these allies.
Our search isn’t limited to the United Kingdom, we believe that positive actions are invaluable wherever they occur. In our search we have been very fortunate to identify our first ally which is an organisation led by Executive Director Mugogo Mark based in Uganda, the UGANDA ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATIONISTS ORGANIZATION (UECO).
The UECO is a Youth led Organization dedicated to preserve the rich biodiversity, natural resources of Uganda and fight climate change. We have captured some of the key details about them below, and for those wanting to read more about them this can be done on the link shared below:-
